String Lights - The Most Recreational Outdoor Lights Around
I'll bear in mind, on the first evening of every family camping outing, the first light of those cherished colorful string lights we had facilitated mother to hang up from tree to tree earlier that day.
This was always the same experience when their smooth but jolly light fell on the soil around us... It was time to be having a good time!
That's string lights for you. Soon as they appear, you merely feel like smiling. And any individual that has hung these types of festive lighting and enjoyed that atmosphere knows what I'm saying.
But in the past, unless you were camping or having a backyard Hawaiian luau, the string lights mostly kept in a box, just gathering dust particles in the attic.
These days folks don't need events to hang most of these little wonders but have made them fixed lighting instruments as a part of their landscape decor. And folks are loving string lights as never before.
And it excites me to notice them becoming so popular. As a young child, I just never thought why we only used them on our outdoor camping trips. We had the very small multi-colored Chinese lantern version and they made the most wonderful shine on our faces as we sat beneath them telling ghost stories.
These days, there are so many styles of string light bulbs to choose from, and all of them ready to create any corner of your lawn a very fun place to be. And not just for an occasional bash, but each night!
When my mother and father passed away, I asked for those outdated Chinese lantern string lighting my mother had strung so often through the years. Though dusty, obsolete and torn, and it seems all the bulbs burned out as well, they possess so many fond reminiscences of our family's hiking trips, they are priceless to me.
And in a private area of my backyard, I have hung some very identical Chinese lanterns. And it's an area everyone's congregates to, faces aglow, conversation lively... Just fun all in all.
